I got this torque wrench on the advice of my bike shop when I bought my new carbon bike. The good: it does what it says on the tin. When you achieve the desired torque, you will feel the handle "click" or suddenly give way. When it does, STOP. It does not ratchet after reaching your desired torque, so that click is the only warning you get. Fortunately, it's pretty hard to miss it. Just turn slowly, and pay attention. If you're unsure, back it out and start again. No real issues with build quality; it feels solid. I didn't notice any give in the attachments. The bad: the instructions are a total waste of your time and aren't worth the paper on which they're printed. You might as well throw them in the bin with the shrink wrap. The way this tool works is this: pull out the end cap and twist it freely while you look at the gauge. The more you turn, the further the gauge goes. One full revolution increases the torque by 2nm, so successive turns take you to 3, 5, 7, 9nm, and so-on. To get values in between, you can stop the handle at the appropriate spot midway between turns; the torque is the sum of the lower gauge value and the handle position, so if you want 3.4, you'd wind down to 3 on the gauge, then turn the handle up to 0.4. The positions are marked every 0.4nm, but there's an actual stop every 0.2nm. It's a little confusing because if you want 4nm, and you look at the gauge and the handle, it looks like your only options would be 4.2 or 3.8nm; however, there is an unmarked stop between the 0.8 and 1.2 handle positions that adds 1 to the gauge value. And now you know everything you need to know about how to operate this wrench, none of which is clearly explained on the instruction sheet, which, again, belongs in your trash bin.So 5 stars for a good wrench, minus one star for a terrible instruction sheet. So far this wrench has done it's job well. I installed a Transfer dropper post on my Jet 9 carbon about a month ago (and of course I now need to wait for the spring) but I was able to get it out on a ride and the new post worked as it should with no hang-ups or noticeable movement. I went and re-torqued all parts on the bike and my fatty (dropper, carbon bars, etc) and I've hammered on that bike this winter. All the parts are holding on nicely.I really liked that this set came with the bits included. It looks and feels nice. I wanted the park tools wrench but this one is getting the job done and you can't beat the price. This unit works as advertised. Because of some negative feedback, I practiced on a bolt on an old recumbent bike and behold, it definitely went past the torque setting I adjusted it to (1 NM). Methodically, I completely backed out the same bolt and tried again then I felt the distinct "give" typical in a torque wrench. I repeated the same sequence (loosened then re-tightened) and this tool was consistent. BUT ONCE PAST THE CLICK/GIVE TORQUE SETTING, IT WILL ALLOW YOU TO CONTINUE TO TIGHTEN THE BOLT WITHOUT ANY FURTHER CLICK/GIVE. So, the product works, you just need to practice how it works and know that once past the torque, it will not give or click anymore. I advise that you do not tighten on a previously tightened bolt because if that bolt is beyond the NM setting, you will not feel the click/give. Hope this helps. The wrench does what it says on the tin. It's easy to adjust and clearly breaks when the set torque is achieved. The included hex sockets are junk. Every single one had noticeable play when compared to the Craftsman hex sockets in my tool box.Purchased my first full carbon bike and was told to not make adjustments without a torque wrench. This is the best price I could find for good quality. It is easy to adjust with the gauge at the bottom of the handle. You definitely will hear and feel the click when you hit the torque limit. The bits are of good quality and typical size needed for making all bicycle adjustments. The case is small and i toss it in my glove box when I'm out and about with my bicycle. Easy day.Would definitely recommend for my fellow cyclers who do not have a torque wrench.- You can adjust the wrench by 0.2nm increments from 2.0 to about 13 or 15nm.- Have had this wrench for about 4+ years and is still working great!Suits my needs perfectly, and it's less expensive than the other bicycle torque wrenches I looked at. Plus it's made by a division of Shimano. Handy to have the multiple tips (some of the other torque wrenches are sold without tips, and you have to buy a tip kit as a separate item). Everything clips rather tightly into the case, which is a minor annoyance but probably necessary to keep things from rattling around and getting damaged. En resumen, funciona bien, pero definitivamente invertiria un poco mas en el torquimetro de parktool o de topeakFeels a little cheap, might be a bit more expensive than needs to be for a tool made in Taiwan, the case is nice and the included bits will take care of many things that require precise tightening on a bicycle. Good tool over all just a little costly.as advertised good priceExcellentQuesta chiave dinamometrica in realtà è della Shimano commercializzata con il marchio PRO.
