To be direct, I cannot recommend this case. Even on a budget. I wouldn't trust this case to even properly protect my device.I hate having to ever give a bad review. But in this case (no pun intended) it's needed. First off I bought this case because it has a built in screen protector. It's a rare feature for cases these days. And let's just start there....The plastic that is used is extremely thin and flimsy. It scratches and collects dust very easily and won't even lay flat on the screen. It feels bad and just doesn't look right on the phone.There is a large cutout for the Dynamic Island that is not to size but just a huge square missing, far larger than the Dynamic Island would even need.This case to me is trying to be a Otterbox, at least in looks because that is where the similarities end. This hard plastic shell that is on the device is so hard, it feels like it's very brittle, and isn't comfortable to hold in the hands.Because of this very hard plastic and not a soft rubber material used, the buttons for both volume and power is near impossible to press. And to hold both at the same time to shut down your device will require both hands to do.The inner case that holds your phone is not the correct dimensions of the phone so you have some slack where the phone may move while in the case. You won't notice this while using the device but I have no doubt after months of moving around even slightly the phone itself will have some minor blemishes from moving around.And this leads me to talk about how well I feel the case would protect the phone if dropped. That inner shell clips together so lightly and the case is so brittle feeling, I do believe a drop from a standard height would break the inner case clips holding it together.The included hostler is also not great. As it doesn't fit tightly against the case, and it can move a bit. Not a major problem but like the case, it too feels like things could break fairly easy after enough rotations of the clip. Not to mention how insanely hard it is to click the clip around the hostler.So to round this all up, I do not feel this case would properly protect your phone from a drop. It maybe enough to not crack the glass, but I would expect some scratches just from being in the case.The screen protector that comes on the case is so bad that most people would likely remove it anyway, which for me was the only reason I bought it.And the hard plastic shell trying to look like rubber is just terrible.I'm truly sorry, but I cannot recommend this case. Not even at a sale price.
