I have been worried about using my iPhone 12 Pro Max without the thick case I had in order to use the MagSafe accessories. This week, I decided I wanted a bumper style case, in order to use my MagSafe accessories directly with the back-glass of the iPhone. My first concern was “it’s only about $18 USD, what if the quality is really poor” ...Not even a week later it was delivered to my house, and OH MAN.I got the Red aluminum bumper case. My iPhone is the the blue model 12 pro Max.I didn’t even realize it came with a screen protector.For $18, I upgraded my iPhone into one that I will never want to stop looking at.Pros.3. The camera bump issue is completely solved with this bumper case. (When you lay the iPhone on a flat surface, it’s corners lift the phone barely above the camera bump. It’s really satisfying and feels a lot safer, and no risk of scratches)2. When using this case, it feels extremely premium.Who wants to spend over a thousand on a new iPhone and select a color if you’re just goong to cover THE ENTIRE PHONE WITH RUBBER. This bumper case makes the iPhone feel way less risky to carry without compromising looks and quality for safety of scratches, and drop damage.3. Best $18 ever spent. For value, this phone bumper case (AND A BONUS SCREEN PROTECTOR) is hands down is THE best for it’s value, and I would argue the best case you can get. Period.4. Protection - this case will effectively protect the iPhone from certain drops. Why do I pit so much trust? Probability. How many times do we all drop our phones directly flat on the screen or face down? Now, take that number, and compare it to the amount of times we drop the phone not directly flat on it’s front or rear. Most of the time, when you drop your phone, drop damage is only going to affect the edges of the phone. This is why I wanted a bumper case!ConsI would say there’s nothing to improve this case. It’s design is insane. I love every bit of it. I love the color, I love the fact that it’s not plastic or rubber, build quality is great, feels great, and works exactly for it’s intended purposes as a bumper case and more.... however, I really tried to find something wrong about it. I can’t. Only if you look in previous reviews, there’s mentions of not being able to access the mute switch. This is someone actually difficult, thankfully I have long thumbnails for the task. But, if I’m being honest, it’s bot even a problem for me.Why? Because it’s a bumper caee. While the iPhone mute switch is a great hardware feature, many forget it’s also built into iOS, too. Which brings me to the solution of the only problem of this case:Just use the back iPhone logo as the mute switch with either a double or triple tap. Why not? It’s a bumper case. You already have the back of the phone exposed. The sensor is only a tap away now! Go to your setting and find this feature under...*Settings app* > Accessibility > Touch > Back TapAnd select “Mute” under “System” for your preference of a double or triple tap.Other notes: this case is a little too perfect in my opinion. I don’t think I’ll ever spend $18 elsewhere and get this result.This phone case is the only product I’ve ever actively decided I needed to rate. I am now addicted to reaching into my pocket, and pulling out my iPhone, and staring at it from all angles for HOURS. This is a clean, stunning bumper style case and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
