This bag caught my eye at a local ski shop. I seldom travel with ski boots, but I was on the lookout for a carry-on that is easy to manage as a backpack, something that's slightly smaller than a rollerbag (and not likely to get gate-checked by overbearing Delta Airlines gate agents) ... This bag is great. It's very easy to see inside via the tall side pocket which unzips fully along that side. It's comfy enough to wear through the terminal, onto subways, etc. as a backpack. It's too big to use as a daypack during a multi-day trip, but that's not why I got it ...The front pocket, which is intended for a ski helmet, has numerous little compartments that are handy for organizing anything/everything. There are also TWO 'sleeve' pockets, one the full size of the pack (behind the pack straps) and the other about 1/3 of the size, both lined with nice soft material so you can carry a laptop or phone or ipad or whatever.
